Straight answers
What happens when a free log expires?
The data gets deleted. Upload the same file again and the log can be restored, under the same share links. Turn on the reminder in your preferences if you want an email before deletion happens.
Is this a backup?
No. It is a viewer. Keep your original log files, and you can upload them again any time.
Do viewers need an account?
No. Anyone with a share link opens the log in a browser, exactly the view you shared, cursors and all. Only uploading needs an account.
